Seulako Beach in Seulako Island, Aceh - Indonesia
Perhaps many travelers have been aware of the presence of small islands that reside near to Sabang City of Indonesia. For the example, it is Seulako Island! The location is in the northwest of Weh Island and it becomes a good choice for water sports and relaxation. The water feels warm and it comes with excellent visibility as well. During snorkeling, tourists may encounter several types of tropical fishes including sea fans, lionfish, angel fish, snappers, moray, snappers, etc. Thus, snorkelers should take the chance to take good pictures of these fishes underwater. It requires a special camera that can withstand the water, though.
According to the locals, the best diving spot is located in the east part of the Seulako Island. Not only tourists can encounter beautiful fishes, but they can see adorable sea turtles that often swim in a group. Not to mention majestic corals reside underwater, looking like a cave! With all these attractions, everyone would be astonished during snorkeling. Even though it requires some diving skills, beginners can get help from an instructor to conduct such activity safely and more comfortable for sure.
Here is another interesting attraction underwater. Divers may find an old shipwreck that belonged to the Japanese Army (during the WWII). It is located about 20 meters under the sea, actually. Have no worries. The object can be seen clearly from different angles, even for beginners. Thus, make sure to take pictures of it during diving later. For those who do not like water sports, they can simply explore the beach by doing beach walking. Even sunbathing sounds great!
